Email letter - August 6, 2012

Holo all! Another good week, I got myself a new comp, Elder Jackson. And I'm slowly tricking him into liking country music with my new church cds with some twang. Just thought you'd like to know. Elder Jackson has been out 3 months, just came from Chico, and is from Hurricane, pronounced "hurrcin" Utah. He's goofy, a hard worker and seems to be a bit on the crazier side. So much like me. It was a good week, we knocked doors, drove about 300 miles, and we taught people. So fairly average. There isn't too much to say about it.
President Weston and I had a talk this week about the area. We're still not sure about whether it's going to stay open or not, but if things don't shape up quickly then it won't. Which would be a real bummer, and I wouldn't be too excited about it. But whatever happens happens, and I know that what will be what is supposed to be. That's one of the things I've developed out here is just to trust what comes from the Lord and go with it, because you're going to be where you're most effective. So if we stay then great, but if we go then just as well. But I do love it here.
We have a baptism this week in Hayfork which will be great. I'm excited a lot for that, especially because I'll be getting wet up to my waist. That'll be fun. We're really excited to have some fruits of our efforts there. And are expecting some more to come soon. It'll be great.
Anyway, there isn't much to report, we're just pushing on as usual. Have a great week you guys, you're all in my prayers and I hope the best is coming to you.
